Adam Schefter reported earlier this week that the Steelers renewed trade talks with the Dolphins regarding tight end Jonnu Smith. Since then, there's been plenty of ideas of where Smith could end up and why - that is - if he doesn't remain in Miami.

One of the latest trade ideas came from Bleacher Report's Kurt Benkert, which sent Smith to the Jaguars for a fifth-round pick.

This trade makes a lot of sense for Jacksonville. Trevor Lawrence signed a massive five-year, $275 million contract extension prior to the 2024 season, after throwing for more than 4,000 yards in 2022 and 2023.

However, in a season tainted by injuries, Lawrence played just 10 games in 2024, throwing for 2,045 yards, 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
