The Los Angeles Dodgers placed right-hander Tony Gonsolin on the 15-day injured list on Saturday with right elbow discomfort.

Right-handed relievers Michael Kopech and Kirby Yates were activated from the 60- and 15-day injured lists, respectively, while fellow right-hander Chris Stratton was designated for assignment.

Gonsolin, 31, has posted a 3-2 record with a 5.00 ERA in seven starts since missing the team’s first 30 games of the season while recovering from Tommy John surgery in September 2023. He allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits in five innings of a 6-1 setback to the New York Mets on Wednesday.

Other starters on the IL, who have pitched for Los Angeles this season, are Tyler Glasnow, Blake Snell and Roki Sasaki, all with shoulder injuries.
