CAMPBELL, Mo. (KFVS) - Several agencies responded to a serious crash early Saturday morning in Campbell, Missouri.

The Campbell Volunteer Fire Department said it was called in after a pickup truck traveling on U.S. 62 toward MO-53 failed to stop at the intersection and crashed near Campbell Public School.

Campbell Police and the Dunklin County Sheriff’s Office were also called in to assist.

According to the fire department, after continuing through the intersection, the pickup traveled through the school circle drive and on through the school property. It hit several awning poles, a chain link fence and a utility pole behind the school, then went into a ditch where it finally came to rest after it struck a culvert. The vehicle then caught fire.
