KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana State Police are investigating an officer involved shooting in Kosciusko county that involved officers from the Warsaw Police Department.

The preliminary investigation shows that on June 7 at approximately 3:35 a.m. an officer with the Warsaw Police Department attempted to make a traffic stop on a 2008 Chevy Silverado that led to a short pursuit. This short pursuit ended near the intersection of S.R13 and E C.R 150 North when the driver rammed into a parked Warsaw police vehicle.

The driver hit the police vehicle while the officer was exiting his vehicle. The officer was treated for the injury to his leg.
