SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) -- The body of the individual that was found Thursday morning at the Sullivan County Jail, has been positively identified following a death investigation with the Indiana State Police.
The Sullivan County Coroner's Office has positively identified the inmate as 37-year-old Brandon M. Houser of Sullivan.
According to a news release from Indiana State Police, on Thursday, June 5th an unresponsive inmate was located while jail officers conducted routine checks of jail cells. Staff immediately rendered medial aid and requested emergency medical services, but the inmate was pronounced deceased.
An autopsy was performed Saturday morning, determining the injuries were self-inflicted, and no foul play is suspected. The family of the individual has been identifi
