MIDDLETON, Wis. (WMTV) - The City of Middleton celebrated the grand opening of Lake Street Park on Friday.

Mayor Emily Kohn, District 3 Alder Katy Nelson and Public Lands, Recreation & Forestry Committee Chair Nick Adams gave remarks at the ceremony. The grand opening also featured a ribbon cutting ceremony and family friendly art activities.

“Lake Street Park is a gift to our residents and a promise to future generations,” said Mayor Kuhn during the ceremony. “It reflects our values—community connection, access to nature, and thoughtful stewardship of our public spaces. We’re proud to share this moment with all of you.”
