Former first-round draft pick Michael McGreevy could’ve been part of the Cardinals starting rotation to start this season. Between his performance late last year, his strong spring training and the club’s focus on the future, you can argue it made sense to insert him into the rotation and let his runway begin as soon as the regular season started.
