DETROIT — An early June series in Detroit hasn’t been must-see baseball in recent years.
But as the MLB-leading Tigers (42-24) host the National League’s top team — the Chicago Cubs (40-24) — Comerica Park is busy as ever.
After drawing a crowd of 41,034 for Saturday’s matchup, the Tigers logged consecutive sell outs for the first time since the final series of 2024 against the Chicago White Sox.
This also marks the first back-to-back games in June the Tigers have had 40,000-plus fans at Comerica Park since 2014.
