Around 12:30 p.m. on June 1, SPD responded to reports of a shooting in the 2800 block of Broadway. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man with at least one gunshot wound. SPD said he was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Four days later, on June 5, he was pronounced dead.

A second victim with at least one gunshot wound self-transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive, according to SPD. The circumstances of the incident remain under investigation, and no arrests have been made.
