Wetherspoons is the worst place to go on a first date with almost half ending in disaster, a poll found.

Researchers found 46% of first dates at one of the pub chains 800 boozers goes wrong. Young people have had the biggest first date disaster in the pub with 63% of Generation Z - those aged 16 to 26 - saying a date has turned their nose up at the date choice . ‌
