LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Very warm and humid conditions will wrap up the weekend as we track an increase of rain chances next week.
Partly cloudy skies and very warm, humid weather will return Sunday. Highs again will reach the low 90’s with heat indices topping 100 at times. Like Saturday, a couple showers may pop up so we’ll leave a 20% chance of rain in the forecast. Overall things look mainly quiet.
High pressure will move out by Monday as we’ll track several disturbances next week. This means isolated-to-scattered storms should return Monday, and we may need to watch for a complex of storms to move near the region as well. A better scattering of showers and storms are expected for the remainder of the week.
