UTSA baseball looks to continue its Cinderella run in the NCAA Tournament with its first super regional win.
In order to continue that magic, the Roadrunners will need to find a way past No. 15 UCLA in Los Angeles. UTSA and UCLA are scheduled for a 7 p.m. ET first pitch in Game 1 of the Los Angeles Super Regional at Jackie Robinson Stadium in Los Angeles on June 7.

Both teams are coming off regional sweep, with UTSA winning the Austin Regional as its No. 2 seed. The Roadrunners beat Kansas State then downed No. 2 national seed Texas twice to advance, while UCLA won its own regional with wins over Fresno State, Arizona State and UC Irvine.
UTSA is the first appearance in the super regionals, while it is the seventh overall trip for UCLA and the first for the Bruins since 2019.

UCLA heads into ninth inning with lead
A two-run bottom of the eighth inning courtesy of a triple from Roman Martin gives the Bruins a 5-2 lead going into the ninth inning.
UCLA hands the ball to Easton Hawk for the final three outs of the game. UTSA has not scored since the top of the second inning on a stolen base attempt at home.
UCLA adds insurance runs in eighth inning
UCLA extends its lead over UTSA to 5-2 on a triple off the right field wall from third baseman Roman Martin. Phoenix Call and Dean West score on Martin's two-RBI triple, which appeared to have been misplayed by UTSA right fielder James Taussig.
It is a three-RBI day for Martin, who is now 2 for 4 at the plate.
Roch Cholowsky makes a highlight play at short
It's a 1-2-3 top of the seventh for Jack O'Connor and UCLA.
A reason for the Bruins' fifth scoreless inning was UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky, who flashed his leather to record the second out of the inning.
Positioned toward third base, Cholowsky played a high chopper up the middle of the field to retire Ty Hodge at first. A really impressive and smooth play by Cholowsky keeps the score at 3-2 UCLA going into the seventh inning stretch in Los Angeles.
UCLA makes pitching change
The Bruins turn to their bullpen as Jack O'Connor comes into pitch for Michael Barnett to start the seventh inning.
Barnett finished strong after a slow start to open the Los Angeles Super Regional, as he got through six innings of work while holding UTSA to just two runs on six hits. The right-hander finished his night with four straight scoreless innings.
UTSA makes second pitching change of inning
Connor Kelley's night is short-lived after he puts both of the first two batters of the sixth inning on base. He will be responsible for both runners as Robert Orloski comes in to pitch.
All momentum is sitting with UCLA as Bruins shortstop Roch Cholowsky comes up to the plate looking to break the game open.
UTSA makes pitching change
The Roadrunners make a call to the bullpen going into the bottom of the sixth inning, as Connor Kelley comes in to relieve Zach Royse.
Royse will finish his night with five innings and three strikeouts while allowing three runs on nine hits and three walks. UTSA is currently trailing UCLA 3-2.
UTSA scoreless in last four innings
UCLA right-hander Michael Barnett has settled in nicely in Game 1 of the Los Angeles Super Regional after giving up two runs in the first two innings. Since then, Barnett has held UTSA scoreless over the last four innings while allowing just three hits.
UCLA leaves bases loaded again
The Bruins had a chance to extend their lead with another bases-loaded opportunity, but UTSA pitcher Zach Royse got Cashel Dugger to fly out to right for the third out of the inning.
It is the second straight inning that UCLA has left the bases loaded. UCLA is now 2-for-9 with runners in scoring position, while having left eight runners on base in the game through five innings.
The Bruins lead the Roadrunners 3-2 going into the sixth.
UCLA takes lead in fourth inning
UCLA takes its first lead of the afternoon at 3-2 on a sacrifice fly from Dean West in the bottom of the fourth.
The Bruins got to UTSA pitcher Zach Royse once again in the third, as they loaded the bases for the second time in the last three innings. UCLA has runners on first and second with two outs in the inning.
UCLA ties game in third inning
After getting himself out of a jam in the second, Zach Royse can't get himself out of another in the third and it leads to UCLA's first runs of the afternoon.
Mulivai Levu wins a lengthy battle with Royse by ripping a double down the right field, allowing Dean West to score from third. Roch Cholowsky would then be brought home one batter later by Roman Martin, who hit into a ground out at third, to even the score at 2-2.
All even at 2-2 between UTSA and UCLA going into the third inning.
UTSA gets out of bases-loaded jam
UTSA dodges a bullet in the bottom of the second, as Zach Royse draws up an inning-ending 6-3 double play to get out of the bases-loaded jam.
The Bruins started the inning with runners on second and third after a double down the left field line from Salgado. UCLA would then load the bases with a one-out walk before Royse got Cashel Dugger to hit into a double play to shortstop Ty Hodge. Tough turn of events for UCLA, which trails UTSA 2-0 going into the third.
Caden Miller steals home, extends UTSA lead in second inning
The Roadrunners extend their lead in the top of the second in an unorthodox way ... stealing home.
A lazy throw back to the mound from UCLA catcher Cashel Dugger comes to cost the Bruins, as UTSA manager Patrick Hallmark picks it up and sends Caden Miller home from third base with two outs. Perfect execution by Hallmark and Miller for the aggressive stolen base attempt.
It's 2-0 UTSA going into the bottom of the second.
UCLA held scoreless in first inning
UTSA pitcher Zach Royse tosses a 1-2-3 bottom of the first inning. The Roadrunners' right-hander got his first two outs of the night on flyouts before getting Mulivai Levu to chase strike three on the off-speed pitch.
Strong start to Game 1 of the super regional for UTSA, as Royse follows Mason Lytle's leadoff home run with an eight-pitch inning.

The Roadrunners aren't wasting any time in their first super regional game, as Mason Lytle hits a leadoff home run to left run in the top of the first inning.

UTSA NCAA baseball tournament history
The Roadrunners are making their first trip to the super regional round of the NCAA Tournament, and their fourth trip to the postseason overall.
UTSA picked up its first NCAA baseball tournament win on May 30 against Kansas State in a 10-2 win in the Austin Regional. The Roadrunners then picked up back-to-back wins against No. 2 national seed Texas to advance one step closer to the College World Series.
