NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a deadly stabbing that happened on Saturday afternoon in Gert Town.

Officers responded to a call of a stabbing around 3:47 p.m. at the intersection of S Dupre and Thalia Streets. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a stab wound.

EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Police have not released any information about a suspect or motive at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
