Bryce Harper is injured again. First it was his elbow, after being hit by a pitch that left him in visible pain. He returned with a home run and it seemed like things were back on track—but now there’s another setback. Harper is dealing with inflammation in his wrist and has been placed on the injured list.

June has been a rough month for Harper. He’s hitting just .091 with two runs, one hit, and one home run—all of which came during the Phillies’ recent disastrous series against the Blue Jays.

There’s no question Harper’s hot streak with the Phillies has cooled off. But the silver lining is that the stint on the IL is expected to be brief. If all goes well, he could return later this month for the final home series in Philadelphia.
