With a second straight road win over Olimpia Milano , Virtus Bologna advanced to the Italian Legabasket Finals.

Duško Ivanović’s side defeated Ettore Messina’s team 78-84 at the Unipol Forum to take a 3-1 lead in the semifinals and secure a spot in the championship series.

Toko Shengelia led the way with 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Isaiah Cordinier added 14 and Mouhamet Diouf scored 10. Virtus will now face Brescia, which swept Trapani 3-0 in the other semifinal.

Nikola Mirotić scored 30 points for Armani, but it wasn’t enough to keep the defending champions alive. After three consecutive titles, Milano ’s run has come to an end.
