COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) - Beaver Local senior Savannah Nign claimed first place in the Girls 400-meter Dash Seated to add to an impressive weekend at the 2025 OHSAA State Track & Field Meet.

Nign topped the field by nearly two seconds with a personal best 1:26.16, and she would go on to earn four total state medals.

The senior also took home two second-place medals (Girls 100-meter Dash Seated, Girls 800-meter Run Seated) and a third-place finish in the Girls Shot Put Seated.

Multiple other local standouts also reached the podium at the 2025 OHSAA State Track and Field meet.
