EAST LANSING — Okemos senior Ian Masih kept pushing hard as he entered the final stretch of holes in the Michigan high school Division 1 boys golf championship at Forest Akers West Golf Course on Michigan State's campus.
Masih knew he was near the top of the leader board on Saturday, June 7, after he birdied No. 17 with four holes remaining, but didn't know exactly how it looked.
"I wasn't too sure where I was sitting compared to the leader," Masih said. TIME TO CELEBRATE: Hall of Famer Dwight Freeney is guest speaker for Detroit High School Sports Awards
