A man died Saturday after a person struck six cars while fleeing police in the Greenhaven-Pocket area, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

At 10:15 a.m., officers responded to the 7300 block of Farm Dale Way after a woman called to say she was trying to retrieve belongings at a home there and believed a person she had accused last weekend of domestic violence may be present, Police Departmnet spokesperson Officer Anthony Gamble said.

The suspect, who fled the home before police arrived, was wanted for domestic violence and being a parolee at large, Gamble said.

Police found him in a car nearby, after which he began driving westbound at high speed on Florin Road. He collided with six other cars, totaling those vehicles and his own car at the intersection of Florin Road and Gre
