FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Rain is on the way tonight into early Sunday morning, with even the possibility of some rumbles of thunder.

Rainfall will continue into the midmorning hours of Sunday before gradually clearing out, even a bit of sun is possible by the evening. A cold front shoving in the rain could help to briefly clear some of the wildfire smoke we’ve been experiencing, but (unfortunately) another push of thick smoke looks possible on Tuesday.

We’ll begin to warm back up for the second half of the upcoming workweek. The 80s return by Wednesday with gradually increasing humidity.
