CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A woman was killed in an overnight shooting in Evanston early Saturday morning, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.

Police say they were dispatched to the deadly shooting on the 1500 block of Jonathan Avenue around 6:50 a.m. Saturday.

Laura Schueler, 47, was found suffering from a gunshot wound by police and the Cincinnati Fire Department.

EMS found that Schueler had died as a result of her injuries.

Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
