COVINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning and was accused of causing minor injuries to a police officer after being taken to jail.

In a news release from the Covington Police Department, officers said around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, they were dispatched to Second Story Bar in response to reports of a disturbance allegedly involving Jones, a customer, and an employee.

When officers arrived at the bar, they were reportedly directed to a car trying to leave the parking lot with Jones inside.

"During the course of the investigation, officers arrested Jones on charges related to his level of intoxication and his behavior," Covington police wrote.

Jones was taken to the Kenton County Detention Center.
