A police spokesperson previously said the man in his 20s was fighting for his life. He died on June 5, police said.
KCRA spoke to Adolfo Navarro, the manager of Taqueria Maya, who says crime along Broadway is getting out of control. He was at work when the shooting happened.
"I heard six shots go off. I didn't know what it was. Then I saw so many people running. It was scary," said Navarro.
