SAVOY, Ill. (WCIA) -- One Champaign County animal clinic is inviting families to see what it takes to keep our furry friends healthy.

Saturday afternoon, Sports Vet in Savoy hosted an open house for the public to visit. Families from the area took tours of the clinic, and for the kids there was a bouncy house and chances to win prizes. They could also bring in stuffed animals to get their pet checked out.

The clinic said this was a great way to showcase what they do on a daily basis.

"Just letting them kind of experience our staff and getting to know everyone and just appreciating our clients," said Ashley Hilliker, Marketing Director.

She said they'll be having more events like this in the future.
