SAN ANTONIO - The family of George Macias, whose body was recovered from Woodlawn Lake last month, held a plate sale on Saturday to help raise funds to properly lay him to rest.

On May 29, 18-year-old Macias' body was discovered just after 8:00 a.m. in Woodlawn Lake after a passer-by spotted a torso sticking out of the water . His cause and manner of death have not been released by the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office yet however the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) says there was no sign of foul play or injuries found at the time of the incident. Macias' family believes he was murdered and continues to seek answers.
