Henry Davis had two hits including a go-ahead solo home run in the bottom of the seventh to back up a stellar start by Andrew Heaney and lead the host Pittsburgh Pirates to a 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday afternoon.
Davis's fourth homer this season came off Phillies' starter Ranger Suarez (4-1) and was his second in as many games. Suarez pitched seven innings, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five on 97 pitches.
Heaney allowed one run on four hits and no walks while striking out five over six innings but left the game in the seventh with a left calf cramp.
