It has been nearly a month since 3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold shocked the music world by announcing that he is battling stage 4 cancer that has spread to his lungs.

Arnold and the band have been quiet across that span, but the singer did share a bit of a glimpse into how he was navigating things recently.

“For 18 years @jen_arnold has been my shoulder to cry on, she’s reeled me back in when I went way to far,” Arnold wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the couple with their dog on the beach. “She’s been my partner but in these last month, she has been an absolute pillar of strength and much more. THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS ABSOLUTE WARRIOR OF A WIFE!!!”
