TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Scattered storms will linger into Sunday as we remain warm and muggy.

Tonight Through Sunday Night

Isolated showers are possible for Saturday evening, but most of the showers should begin to fizzle after sunset. We are warm and muggy for the overnight. Lows fall into the mid-70s under a partly cloudy to mostly clear sky.

Our “rinse and repeat” forecast will continue on Sunday. For the morning, we are keeping an eye on a cluster of showers and storms to our north. This is called a mesoscale convective system (MCS), and models can struggle with them.

For example, our GRAF model has this MCS falling apart in central Georgia and only bringing a few showers to our South Georgia counties. On the other hand, the HRRR model has this MCS diving all the way to the coas
