TILTONSVILLE, Ohio (WTRF) - A special gift was presented to a fighting boy.
The Ohio Valley Chapter of A Special Wish Foundation hosted its fifth annual Golf Scramble today, welcoming 22 teams for a day filled with golf, great food, raffle prizes, and fellowship.
But the true highlight of the day was the heartfelt presentation of a special wish to three-year-old Neiko.
In early 2024, Neiko was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, a rare condition that required a craniotomy to remove a tumor from his skull. He now faces a year of chemotherapy treatments.
Despite the challenges, Neiko remains a playful and joyful little boy who loves everything Mario Kart and Toy Story.
Neiko's mother, Keasha Barz stated how the foundation helps their family get through the rough treatments.
