SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office reported that one person is dead following a motorcycle crash in Inman.

Authorities said they were called out to the intersection of SC Highway 11 and Cannon Ford Road regarding a motorcycle vs vehicle collision.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol stated that at approximately 1:54 p.m., a 2007 Dodge Ram and 2008 Yamaha motorcycle were both traveling north on SC Highway 11. The Dodge Ram attempted to turn left onto Cannon Ford Road, and struck the motorcycle. The Ram then ran off the road and struck a ditch.

The driver of the Ram was reported to be uninjured, while the driver of the motorcycle died at the scene.

The coroner's office identified the deceased as 48-year-old Sidney Brian Conard of Woodruff.
