The Vallejo Seaweed show a record of 4-9 this season, but to some people the team is undefeated.

On Friday Vallejo won its second in as many games at Wilson Park this season, an 8-6 victory over Monterey. It was the team’s first game since it was announced it will be staying in Vallejo for good and that the franchise will no longer play any contests as the Santa Rosa Scuba Divers.

According to Seaweed General Manager Mark Walter, Wilson Park drew 65 people to the park on short notice. The game wasn’t announced as being played at Wilson Park until less than 24 hours before first pitch.
