Public asked to avoid S. 13th Street and Oak Street due to fatal accident

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) -- The public is asked to avoid the area of S. 13th Street and Oak Street as the Terre Haute Police Department is actively investigating a fatal traffic accident.

According to THPD, S. 13th Street is expected to be closed for several hours while the investigation is conducted.

Multiple authorities are on scene of the accident. The public is asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
