Two Chicago firefighters and a teen suffered minor injuries Saturday afternoon during an apartment fire in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to a blaze on the third floor of an apartment building in the 2300 block of South Ashland Avenue, said fire spokesperson Larry Langford.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries and were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Langford said. A teen boy, whose age wasn’t immediately available, was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital for smoke inhalation, Langford said.
