INDEPENDENCE, Ohio - As if Northeast Ohio‘s busiest highway didn’t already have enough issues for drivers to deal with, new lane closings are on the way for Interstate 480.

Motorists should expect evening and overnight lane closings starting Monday and lasting through late July for resurfacing between Camden Road in Warrensville Heights and Broadway Avenue in Garfield Heights, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced.

The lane closings will vary during the length of the project and be restricted to the hours of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., ODOT said.

This is in addition to other traffic changes already in place just west in Independence at the massive intersection of I-480 and I-77 and further west at the Ridge Road exit
