LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Saturday morning storms cleared up in time for a lot of family fun at the annual Project Zero Disney Extravaganza.
Hundreds of volunteers from Project Zero and the Division of Children and Family Services put on the event at the Summit Church in North Little Rock.
The goal is to connect waiting kids with their forever families.
"We invite every child in the state of Arkansas that is currently waiting to be adopted, and we invite families who have gone through the adoption process and are now open and waiting to adopt a child,” Project Zero assistant director Cara Shaefer said. “And we invite those families and kids with the hope that forever families are formed."
Project Zero puts on multiple events throughout the year.
