LAS VEGAS — In honor of National Homeownership Month, KB Home invited local residents to a free educational event titled "Homebuying 101" on Saturday.

The event aimed to provide attendees with insights into the current housing market and available resources.

Rob Tuvell is the Regional Manager for KB Homes.

He says, "It's National Home Ownership Month at KB Homes. We celebrate once a year. Folks are coming to see us to get advice on how to purchase a home, to learn about financing options and other things that will help and sssist them in owning a new KB Home."

Tuvell also said, "One of the advantages of owning a KB Home is you can personalize it. You can build it from the ground up."

He goes on to say that the KB is a national builder that focuses on affordability for first-time home
