Canadian wildfires impact air quality across Vt. & N.Y.

ALBURGH, Vt. (WCAX) - Hazy and smoky skies from Canadian wildfires jacking up the Air Quality Index to unhealthy levels.

The New York Department of Health, and the Department of Environmental Conservation issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for the Adirondacks, Eastern Lake Ontario and Central and Western New York.

According to Vermont Alerts, the Air Quality Index is unhealthy for sensitive groups in all counties.
