GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Saturday was opening day for the Miracle League of Green Bay, getting their 19th season underway.

The day started with an opening ceremony, highlighted by former Green Bay Packer Johnnie Gray delivering remarks to the kids.

That was followed by games the entire day.

The Miracle League provides an opportunity for children ages 4 to 19 with mental or physical challenges to play baseball on a real team.

The league has 213 players on 16 teams, as well as 300 volunteers, most of them buddies for the players.
