ALTOONA, PA. (WTAJ) — A generally quiet day for Central Pennsylvania aside from a few isolated showers that formed due to the warmth and muggy air.
A northerly wind returned hazy skies along I-80 and north.
Our winds will shift come Sunday and start to clear out the haze.
Overnight lows through the morning will be down in the upper 50s to low 60s.
Precipitation returns to the forecast starting in the mid to late morning hours of Sunday.
Saturated soils have prompted The National Weather Service out of Pittsburgh to issue an Areal Flood Watch across Southwestern Pennsylvania.
As of Saturday evening, there are no active watches, warnings, or advisories for Central PA.
Showers and some embedded rumbles of thunder is possible during the day on Sunday.
