A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Saturday at 7:11 a.m. for strong thunderstorms until 8 a.m. for Pike County.
Residents may experience wind gusts of up to 40 mph.
"At 7:10 a.m., Doppler radar tracked a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Pecks Pond, or 13 miles west of Montague, moving southeast at 15 mph," according to the weather service. "Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects."
The alert is for Dingmans Ferry, Pecks Pond and Tamiment.
The weather service states, "Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways."
