SHREVEPORT, La. - A man wanted for seriously hurting someone at a Shreveport gas station has been arrested, according to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.

Johnathan B. Melton, 33, was found and taken into custody without any trouble Friday evening. Deputies say he was located at a store in the 3700 block of Greenwood Road in Shreveport. He is now in the Caddo Correctional Center and is being held without bond. Melton is charged with second-degree battery.

The arrest comes after a May 28 incident, where a man was punched in the face at a gas station on Hollywood Avenue. Video from the gas station helped investigators identify Melton as the suspect.

This case is still under investigation.
