PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. (WLOX) - The long-awaited opening of Mississippi’s first Buc-ee’s is almost here, and for many on the Gulf Coast, it already feels like home.

Located in Pass Christian just off I-10, the new store is drawing excitement from locals eager to welcome the Texas-based convenience store chain. The store is known for its spotless restrooms, fresh brisket sandwiches, and endless aisles of Buc-ee’s merchandise. Now it’s setting roots in South Mississippi.

“Oh my god, I’m so excited, I’m glad we finally got it,” said Quantella Lee, who lives within walking distance of the new Buc-ee’s. “Early mornings, evenings, nights—I’ma be there.”

For many, Buc-ee’s is more than just a place to stop on road trips. It’s a full-on experience.
