Residents and visitors descended on downtown Fairfax on Saturday for the town’s annual parade.

The procession was part of the 46th annual Fairfax Festival and EcoFest. The parade start was set for 10 a.m., followed by a day of food, music and entertainment. The festival continues Sunday.
