It’s only fair since June is the month that we celebrate Father’s Day, that we look at men as caregivers in this month’s installment. Trust me, this will not be a variation on a “Thelma and Louise” theme.

In researching for this article I came across some very interesting facts. For example, of the over 3.5 million RNs in this country, a little over 12.5% are male. Now compare that with the number of informal, at-home men caring for a loved one with dementia, which is 40%, and you can see the contrast.
