Bexar County has released early voting totals for the June 7 runoff election, where voters cast ballots for the San Antonio Mayor position.

What you need to know

After securing the majority vote against 25 other candidates in the May 3 election , Gina Ortiz Jones and Rolando Pablos faced off against each other in the runoff election.

According to unofficial early voting results, Gina Ortiz Jones leads with 53,645, or 52.33% of votes. Rolando Pablos follows behind with 48,863, or 47.67% of votes.

What else?

In early voting , there were 102,726 ballots cast, which represents 12.21% of San Antonio's 841,653 registered voters.
