A pair of Calloway County residents ended up in jail Thursday on drug charges after a traffic stop in Graves County.

The two were stopped by Graves County Sheriff's deputies along I-69 at about 12:20 p.m. Thursday near the 21-mile marker. The deputies had cause to believe there could be drugs in the pickup truck. A search turned up several grams of methamphetamine as well as marijuana. The two were arrested and taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center before being taken out-of-county.

The occupants, 63-year-old Donald Grimes and 41-year-old Heidi Grimes of Murray were charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
