The Wildcats’ softball season ended on a positive note.

After going 3-15, Greenwood faced York Catholic in the District championship game and won 14-2 for the district title.

The Wildcat offense read the pitcher quickly which allowed more hits and more runs than they got throughout other games in the season.

Following a ten-game losing streak, Greenwood beat Camp Hill 7-4 before losing two more games and then beating East Juniata 13-6.

The Wildcats rounded out the season with two losses, one of them a close 14-10 game against Newport, and then prepared for Districts.

There are three teams in District III for the A division. One of the teams did not qualify for Districts due to the number of games so that left Greenwood and York Catholic for the championship.
