The Trump administration has escalated its response to surging anti-ICE protests and violence, announcing the deployment of 2,000 National Guardsmen to Los Angeles. This move comes as “Border Czar” Tom Homan and Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons issue stern warnings to protesters and Democratic politicians, particularly those threatening to “dox” federal agents.
The White House, through Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, confirmed the deployment on Saturday. “In recent days, violent mobs have attacked ICE Officers and Federal Law Enforcement Agents carrying out basic deportation operations in Los Angeles, California,” Leavitt stated. She emphasized that “These operations are essential to halting and reversing the invasion of illegal criminals into the United States.”
