FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Game one of the NCAA Super Regional round between the Arkansas Razorbacks and Tennessee Volunteers had everything you could want, tension passion, drama, elite pitching and big hits and in the end Arkansas prevailed 4-3.

Zach Root took the mound to begin and got Arkansas out to a strong start with a one, two three first inning.

Tennessee took a little longer to get three outs, as two Hogs got on base, but the result was still the same in the end, it was 0-0 after one.

Root went back to work in the second with another one, two three outing, finishing two frames with just 18 pitches.

The bottom of the second would see the offense find their first production of the day as Cam Kozeal would score the first run off a wild pitch to make it 1-0, but that was all the damage
