BUFFALO, N.Y. — This year's Taste of Buffalo food festival will include a fiery new collaboration.

"Hot Ones," a popular internet TV show, and its parent media company First We Feast will be at the two-day event, on July 12 and 13 at Niagara Square and along Delaware Avenue.

Five restaurants participating in the Taste of Buffalo will team up with Hot Ones to "create exclusive, heat-packed dishes utilizing the show’s legendary sauces," the festival said in a statement. Those restaurants include D.A. Taste, Avenue29 Foods, Carruba’s Chicken Pit, Babcia’s Pierogi, and Lime House Sushi and Ramen.

Hot Ones and First We Feast will also have a physical presence at the festival, thanks to a Heat & Greet Pop-Up tent. That's where Buffalo's own Camera Guy Bill — whose real name is Bill Drexle
