A Massachusetts lottery player won $1 million from a $10 ticket — but won’t be releasing their name to the public.
The $1 million prize was from “ $4,000,000 Bonus Money ,” a $10 scratch ticket game released on Sept. 10, 2024. There are still six $1 million prizes and two $4 million prizes remaining to be claimed in the game as of June 6.
The winning ticket was sold in Springfield at a Nouria located at 1313 Boston Rd. The shop will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The $1 million prize was claimed for the winner by MK Miraculous Nominee Trust of Springfield on Thursday. The trust, represented by trustee Thomas Bessette, chose to receive the prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes.
